Personalized hiking journeys through the Swiss Alps

After several attempts to figure out a hut trip in mid-October on my own, I ran across Wander We Go's website and got in touch with Alex on whim. From our first emails and meetings, I felt that she understood exactly what type of trip we were looking for and was able to come up with an itinerary that checked all the boxes. She is incredibly resourceful and knowledgeable about where to go and how to navigate all the systems (where to stay, how to get there, how much it costs, and even the weather!). If I am lucky enough to go hiking again in the Alps, she will be the first person I contact.

Our custom hiking itinerary was exceptional. Alex designed a 5 day hut-to-hut route in the Uri region (never heard of it before!!) that perfectly matched our hiking level and interests. She customized our meeting exactly to what I needed (based on the form she sent me, which had great questions) so nothing we went over was stuff I already knew (like the apps, but even there the quick look at them with her taught me things about SwissTopo and SchweizMobile that I use almost every time now). She gave me great advice on how to find hikes, what to look out for and how to find huts. In the three weeks since I saw her I have done four of the hikes she suggested and they were all amazing! I also customized some of them a little with what I learned from her during our meeting. Highly recommend!
